Party chief required in our civil engineering firm. Proven field experience in all types of construction surveying including stakeout, grading, deep services, topographic surveys, legal, subdivisions, etc. Must be able to read blueprints and drawings (structural and architectural). A good working knowledge of survey equipment (Total Stations) required. Knowledge of GPS an asset. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are a must.

Duties will include preparation from start to finish of a wide variety of plans & drawings, and review and preparation of data files for commercial construction staking. Candidate should be familiar with LTO & City of Calgary information sources. Strong background in computers and Autocad 2002 or later. Experience with transit programs, total stations, SPIN, network management, LDD. Structural, architectural, & mechanical plan reviews are an asset. Must be well organized, a problem solver, detail oriented. Minimum five years experience in related work. Will hold a certificate and/or have formal training in ACAD, survey, or civil discipline.
